the founder, craft designer, photographer, marketing department, creative director, and the entire brain behind this brand (yes… all in one person 😄). My journey began in 2020 in Jaipur after studying craft design at IICD, where hands-on learning introduced me to India’s beautiful craft traditions and the people behind them.

In the beginning, I worked on every piece myself, fixing finishes, testing materials, packing, understanding what this craft truly needed to survive. I realised this brand couldn’t just sell products; it had to build respect for the process and the people behind it.

My “why” became clear - to make Thikri reachable, to create work for artisans, and to let this craft live not just in palaces, but in real homes and real lives.

Everything we do today still grows from that one intention.
