Rooted in the grandeur of Indian temple architecture, our "Vrindavan" artwork from The Temple Series is a celebration of devotion, detail, and heritage craftsmanship.
Inspired by the vibrant colours, sacred symbolism, and ornate artistry found in traditional Indian temples, this piece brings spiritual warmth and statement design into contemporary living spaces.
At the centre stands a hand-painted Shrinath Ji cutout, created in the classical Pichwai style and finished with exquisite detailing. Surrounding this sacred form is a luminous Thikri banana leaf pattern, where each mirror shard is hand-cut and hand-laid by skilled artisans of Rajasthan. As light moves across the surface, the mirrors respond with a gentle radiance - allowing the artwork to shimmer and transform from every angle, creating depth, movement, and quiet grandeur.
Every element is crafted with intention. The banana leaf motif, symbolic of abundance and auspiciousness, frames the composition with meaning, while the arched temple form echoes timeless Indian architecture and spiritual design.
Perfect for living rooms, entryways, boutique spaces, or luxury interiors, this piece brings warmth, depth, and artisanal character to any wall.
Styling Note:
Display this piece on its own as a devotional centrepiece, or pair it with our Kamdhenu Cow Thikri Artworks or Gopi Artworks to create a cohesive, temple-inspired wall installation.

HANDMADE DISCLAIMER
HANDMADE DISCLAIMER
Each of our creations is meticulously handcrafted one piece at a time by master artisans. No machines. No mass production. Only human skill, patience, and tradition.
Because of this process, no two pieces are ever exactly alike - a beautiful reminder that what you hold is truly unique!! Our artworks are made using authentic Thikri mirror, a rare form of reflective glass created from hand-blown metallic glass, shaped from molten glass much like a traditional matka (earthen pot). These mirrors are produced only in desi bhattis (traditional furnaces) in Gujarat, using age-old techniques practiced today by only a handful of skilled karigars. Due to the limited number of artisans preserving this heritage craft, the raw material itself is rare and often available in small quantities. As the mirrors are mouth-blown and shaped entirely by hand, natural variations occur - including: Gentle air bubbles, Subtle surface discolouration & Organic curves and uneven textures
These characteristics are not flaws, but the signature of true handmade craftsmanship, setting Thikri mirrors apart from machine-made, flat reflective glass.
Because every mirror is created by hand:
- Imperfections are natural
- No two shades of the same colour are ever identical
- Each artwork carries its own story and character
Your purchase directly supports the revival of the ancient Thikri mirror inlay craft, sustaining artisan communities in Rajasthan and helping preserve a cultural legacy that is slowly disappearing. Perfectly imperfect. Authentically handcrafted.
